    Dear Customers, Partners and Friends of EEX Group,

    February is fast approaching and we are very much looking forward to another edition of E-world energy & water in Essen.

    The world is changing, and so is our industry. AI, the energy transition as well as geopolitical flux are all high on the agenda and implications of these are hot topics and in the centre of every conversation.

    E-world will give us another opportunity to exchange views and discuss ways forward for a joint future – including how to build those secure, successful and sustainable markets together as one team. 2025 was another strong year for EEX Group markets, especially for the power and natural gas asset classes, but we need to be prepared for unpredictability in the coming years.

    One source of wider unpredictability will be how to manage the energy transition and how carbon markets will continue to play an important part in all this. At EEX Group, we believe in the importance of compliance markets and with that in mind, I’d like to invite you to join our panel discussion at E-world, with focus on how to navigate the upcoming transition from the German nEHS to EU ETS2. While the nEHS raised record revenues last year again, it is timely to discuss how this transition can be managed and what market players will have to keep in mind.
